Accordingly, in order to ensure smooth traffic on roads leading to the Son Tra Peninsula affected by landslides due to heavy rain in the past few hours, on Tuesday morning, the municipal Department of Transport directed its affiliated units to mobilise machinery and equipment to clear soil and rocks that have spilled onto the road surface. The purpose is to ensure drainage, and to prevent water from the longitudinal ditches from flowing over the road surface, causing damage to the foundation, road surface, and construction works.

At the same time, efforts are made to clean up fallen trees, road surface, spillways, longitudinal ditches and drainage culverts along these roads.
