30th anniversary of Tuong Lai Specialised School
“The 30-year journey of Tuong Lai (Future) Specialised School is a story of perseverance, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Generations of educators at the school have united with determination, step by step overcoming challenges to make this institution a second home for children with disabilities”. Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh made the remark at a ceremony held in the city on Saturday to celebrate the 30th birthday of the school.

Chairman Chinh highlighted that alongside comprehensive investment in education and training, the city prioritised the care and education of people with disabilities, particularly children. Various practical programmes have been implemented to provide opportunities and an enabling environment for education, skill development, and support for children with disabilities.
Over the past three decades, generations of leaders and educators at the Tuong Lai Specialised School have tirelessly devoted themselves to achieving remarkable accomplishments. These achievements extend beyond education, reflecting in numerous awards and profound gratitude from students, parents, and society at large.
On behalf of the city’s leadership, the Chairman acknowledged and praised the school’s collective efforts and achievements in its 30 years of development. He affirmed the city’s commitment to supporting the school, encouraging it to proactively explore advanced, effective early intervention models and specialised skills to further assist the children’s development.

The Tuong Lai Specialised School, established on 1 December 1994, currently operates two campuses, one at 22 Tran Binh Trong Street, Hai Chau District (serving preschool and junior high school pupils), and another at 88A Huy Can Street, Cam Le District (serving primary pupils).
Over its 30 years of operation, the school has earned numerous titles and accolades. Since the 2019-2020 academic year, it has consistently been recognised by the city as an "Outstanding Labour Collective".
On the occasion, Tuong Lai Specialised School was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Chairman of the Municipal People’s Committee and received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training for its achievements during 30 years of establishment and development. Additionally, seven individuals from the school were honoured with Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, while six collectives and 15 individuals received Certificates of Commendation from the Da Nang Department of Education and Training.
