The programme marks the beginning of the Ayopa Retreat Project, which aims to create a community connection space where families with children with special needs can share and support each other.
The project collaborates with experts to establish a support network for families and caregivers, providing them with opportunities to enhance skills and develop competencies in working with special needs children. It also ensures children can enjoy play, exploration, and personalised support tailored to their individual needs.
During the programme, attendees enjoyed music and magic performances and interacted with speaker Nguyen Chung Tue, a guest from Australia diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He shared his journey of integration, overcoming challenges, and achieving success in life.
Nguyen Chung Tue is currently working at Haileybury College (Australia) and has won numerous awards in Australian educational competitions. He is also a songwriter and performer, regularly showcasing his music and magic in various countries, including Viet Nam.
