Da Nang’s highest Tet bonus this year is VND700 million, belonging to an individual working at a private enterprise, with the lowest amount at VND100,000, announced by the municipal Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs on Tuesday.

Specifically, the highest monthly salary is VND 369.4 million at a foreign-invested enterprise, whilst the lowest is VND 4.3 million.

At one-member limited liability companies with 100% charter capital held by the State, the highest bonuses for the 2025 New Year and Lunar New Year will be VND 35 million and VND 46 million respectively. Meanwhile, the lowest bonuses for the 2025 New Year and Lunar New Year will be VND 300,000 and VND 2 million respectively.

Joint-stock companies with State-owned shares are expected to give an average bonus of VND 200,000 - VND 17 million for New Year 2025, and VND 1 million - VND 220 million for Tet 2025.

Private enterprises will have the highest New Year bonus of VND 1.5 million and the lowest of VND 100,000. Meanwhile, the highest bonus for Tet 2025 will be VND 700 million, and the lowest VND 200,000.

As for foreign-invested enterprises, the highest bonuses of VND 223 million and VND 475.5 million will be for New Year and Tet 2025 respectively, whilst the lowest amount will be VND 100,000.

The abovementioned numbers were tallied from reports of 135 businesses operating in the city about the salary levels in 2024 and bonuses for the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year holidays 2025.
