20,346 Tet gifts given to the poor at "Spring of Love 2025" Programme

During the "Spring of Love - At Ty 2025" programme held by the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang on Monday, a combined total of 20,346 Tet gifts were presented to poor and near-poor households, families in especially difficult circumstances, households with victims of Agent Orange, social policy beneficiaries, and lonely elderly and disabled people.

The total cost of the programme was more than VND 10.2 billion allocated from the "Spring of Love" programme and the city's "For the Poor" Fund.

In addition, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city donated 423 Tet gifts to 398 Co Tu ethnic and 25 Chinese Vietnamese households in the city, with a total support of VND 507.6 million.

Also at the programme, the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city awarded "Golden Heart" symbolic boards to 10 units in recognition of their active support for the city’s "For the Poor" Fund.

On the occasion, three units were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of the city for their active contribution to the "For the Poor" Fund for two consecutive years. Meanwhile, 38 groups and 7 individuals received Certificates of Merit in recognition of their outstanding achievements in mobilising and supporting northern provinces to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.

The municipal People's Committee presented Certificates of Merit to 22 groups for their remarkable achievements in mobilising and supporting northern provinces to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
