City leader presents Tet gifts to preschool children in difficult circumstances

On Saturday, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi visited children studying at the OneSky Da Nang Preschool Care and Education Centre.

Vice Chairwoman Thi sent the best wishes to teachers and staff of the OneSky Da Nang Preschool Care and Education Centre.

During the visit, she highly appreciated the centre's operating model, and praised the efforts of the center's staff, teachers, and employees for caring for and educating children in difficult circumstances in the city in recent times.

She expressed her joy that the children here can live and study in a safe, friendly environment, full of humanity and love. At the same time, she hoped that the staff, teachers and employees of the centre will continue their efforts to improve the quality of activities, and create the best conditions for children’s comprehensive development.

The OneSky Da Nang Preschool Care and Education Centre was put into operation in 2017, serving poor children in industrial zones with non-profit purposes.

Over the past eight years, the centre has enrolled nearly 950 children in special circumstances. Of which, 95 children are orphans, have a parent with a serious illness, and have a certificate of poverty from the local government.

On the occasion, the OneSky Da Nang Preschool Care and Education Centre organised the 2025 Spring Festival with the theme "Tet Sum Vay". During the festival, the participants made a total of 400 ‘banh chung’ to 260 workers' families, to share the joy on the occasion of the upcoming Tet.

At the same time, 25 gifts were given to workers' families with especially difficult circumstances whose children are studying at the centre, Each gift was valued at VND 540,000 and included warm clothes for children and essential foods for Tet.
