During her working session in Da Nang on Monday with the E-Future Association and Japanese investment funds, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi provided an overview of the city's economic and social situation.

In Da Nang, direct investment capital from Japan in recent years has contributed positively to the city's overall development. Japanese-invested projects are mainly in the fields of manufacturing industry, high technology, real estate and education, she added.

Vice Chairwoman Thi took the opportunity to ask for support from the E-Future Association and Japanese investment funds to connect innovative startup ecosystems of Da Nang and Japan; establish the Da Nang - Japan innovation spaces; and introduce Japanese investment funds and investors to participate in the city's innovative startup events such as the Da Nang Innovation Startup Festival (SURF) 2025, and the Da Nang Venture and Angel Summit (DAVAS) 2025.

Ms. Can Thanh Huyen, Chairman of the E-Future Association, said that recently, the E-Future Association has organised a number of activities in the city. As a bridge, in the coming time, the association hopes to promote the connection of Japanese enterprises to invest in startup projects in Da Nang. The Association is willing to call on engineers to support and exchange in the city's innovative startup support activities.
