The Trade Union organization of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks of Da Nang coordinated with the Hai Chau District Labour Federation and the city’s Labour Culture House to organise the programme "Reunion Day - Welcome Spring 2025" on Sunday.

The festival features 10 booths selling necessities at discounted prices to serve trade union members and workers; and 5 booths of folk entertainment with prizes, cuisine. Also, there are contests to wrap ‘banh chung’ (square glutinous rice cake) for Tet, decorate the Tet fruit tray, and cook and display Tet meals with the participation of 15 competing teams.

At the opening ceremony of the festival, the Trade Union organisation of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones of Da Nang, the Labour Federation of Hai Chau District and the municipal Labor Culture House presented 8,800 gifts totalling VND8.8 billion, 12,000 free shopping vouchers worth VND1.2 billion in total, and 850 ‘banh chung’ to industrial park workers in Hai Chau District.

In addition, 2,098 free bus and train tickets were given to trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances to return home for Tet in the program "Trade Union Tet Journey".

Also on the same day, the Trade Union of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones of Da Nang held a conference to review its performance in 2024 and identify key directions and tasks for 2025.

On the occasion of the 2024 Lunar New Year, the Trade Union donated 10,000 shopping vouchers with a total value of VND 1 billion, 7,000 gifts worth VND 3.5 billion in total, free bus tickets to more than 1,600 out-of-province workers to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet in the programme "Trade Union Tet Journey", and 115 free train tickets in the programme "Trade Union Train".

In the 2024 Workers' Month, the Trade Union distributed 700 free health check-up and consultation vouchers to members and workers; gave 700 gifts, each worth VND 500,000 with a total amount of VND 350 million; collected 664 units of blood in a voluntary blood donation festival; and developed 4,144 new trade union members.

In 2025, the Trade Union will promote the implementation of the key programme for the 2023-2028 term, with focus on developing new members, establishing grassroots trade unions, and enhancing the role of representing, caring for, and protecting union members and workers.

At the conference, the municipal Labor Federation awarded Emulation Flags to 3 collectives, and Certificates of Merit to 9 collectives and 50 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Excellent workers and building strong trade union organisations in 2024". The Trade Union of High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones of Da Nang presented Certificates of Merit to 46 collectives, 49 trade union groups and 208 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Excellent workers and building strong trade union organizations in 2024".
