Chairman Chinh asked the construction units to absolutely ensure the principles of aesthetics and quality of the project on renovating the drainage system and placing information and lighting cables underground along Hung Vuong - Ly Thai To route.

It was necessary to ensure traffic safety and order and environmental sanitation, avoiding affecting business and production activities of local people, the city leader added.

The project on renovating the drainage system and placing information and lighting cables underground along Hung Vuong - Ly Thai To route starts at the intersection of Ly Thai To - Phan Thanh streets and ends at Bach Dang Street, of which Hung Vuong Street is about 1,580m long.

The VND 96.8 billion project is carried out during the 2023 - 2025 period to meet the requirements of urban development, at the same time to serve people's lives and develop the regional economy.

According to the plan, the city will renovate, upgrade and build a new rainwater drainage system arranged under the road with a culvert aperture of 2-2.5m. A new wastewater drainage system will be installed along the sidewalk to collect wastewater from houses on both sides of the road, whilst the lighting system will be renovated.

When inspecting the project on upgrading the existing headquarters of the municipal People’s Council at 42 Bach Dang into new Museum of Da Nang, Chairman Chinh requested the construction unit to speed up the progress of the project before January 15.

"From January 16 to 18, 2025, Da Nang will host the Forum of Friendship and Cooperation Cities - Meet Danang 2025. It is expected that delegates will visit the city's monuments, landscapes, and typical cultural works” he explained.

In addition, it was necessary to ensure the scale of the exhibition and the conditions of the facilities because this is the place to collect, preserve, and promote the historical and cultural values of the city and the Central Highlands region, Chairman Chinh said.

The Museum of Da Nang is undergoing a trial operation before being inaugurated. The project is expected to open to the public on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the city (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025)

The nearly VND 505 billion project features a newly built museum block, a synchronous technical infrastructure system, and green landscape.
