Chairman Chinh stated that the city is making efforts to become a livable and peaceful destination. Therefore, he hoped that the Association and its chapters at all levels will continue to uphold the achieved results, innovate methods of operation, and closely follow the practical life of poor and disadvantaged households, people with disabilities, and children in especially difficult circumstances to have appropriate and effective support programmes.
Moreover, he stressed the need for the Association to continue to diversify forms of propaganda on the Party's policies and the State's laws in charity, humanitarian work and protection of children's rights. At the same time, further efforts should be made to improve the effectiveness of mobilising social resources to carry out emulation movements, help vulnerable groups in society, and ensure social security.
