Hai Chau District launches Tet tree-planting festival
On Saturday morning, the People's Committee of Hai Chau District held a launching ceremony for the Tet tree-planting festival 2025 in the district. Attending the ceremony was Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Quang Nam.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Chau District Nguyen Van Duy said that the Tet tree-planting festival has not only become a beautiful traditional cultural feature, but also brought great socio-economic benefits, enhanced protection capacity, responded to climate change and natural disaster mitigation, and improved quality of living environment, thereby contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of local people.

He also requested Party committees and authorities at all levels, organisations, agencies, and units to continue to promote extensive propaganda in many forms to the masses about the purpose and meaning of the festival, as well as the great effects, comprehensive and long-term benefits, humanistic values of tree planting, forest planting and protection, and environmental protection.

On the occasion, Hai Chau District presented 160 pots of ornamental plants to local people and pupils, and at the same time, launched the planting of 3 yellow Osaka trees in the park and 6 Queen's flower trees along Le Ba Trinh Street in Hoa Cuong Bac Ward.
