Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, on Wednesday, inspected a number of non-budget projects in the city that have been granted investment policies.

These projects were The Nam Khang resort residences in Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District; the service area along the Han River in An Hai Nam Ward, Son Tra District; the Capital Square 2 urban area in An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District; and the Da Nang Real Estate and Marina in Nai Hien Dong Ward, Son Tra District.

Chairman Chinh praised the investors of the projects for their great efforts in ensuring the on-scheduled progress. He also requested investors and contractors to coordinate with departments and localities to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, as well as guarantee environmental sanitation during the construction progress. The construction of items must ensure safety to avoid affecting people's business and production, he noted.

During his inspection visits to the construction sites of the An Trung 2 and Dai Dia Bao social housing projects in Son Tra District, Chairman Chinh said that the social housing projects have received great attention from people, especially in the context of the Government implementing the project to construct at least a million apartments of affordable "social housing" for low-income earners and workers in industrial parks in the 2021 - 2030 period.

He, therefore, pledged that the city always created the most favourable conditions for projects to be implemented as soon as possible, meeting the housing needs of local people.

The aforementioned social housing projects are invested by the Joint Venture of Duc Manh JSC and 579 Investment and Construction JSC. Currently, the An Trung 2 social housing project consisting of 3 blocks of apartments has completed the selection of contractors, and signed contracts with construction, supervision and management units.

The Dai Dia Bao social housing project comprises three 9-storey blocks offering a total of 739 apartments and kiosks. In particular, blocks A and B have been completed and handed over for use, and block C is under construction.
