The Da Nang authorities held a ceremony on Monday to inaugurate social housing for people with revolutionary contributions on Vu Mong Nguyen Street on the occasion of the 95^th anniversary of the founding of the municipal Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50^th anniversary of the  liberation of the city (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025).

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasised that this was a very meaningful event to celebrate the glorious Party and the city's liberation.

This was not only a construction project, but also a symbol of gratitude and responsibility towards those who have greatly contributed to the country and the city.

The social housing development was part of the project "Building social housing complexes for families of people with meritorious services to the revolution who face housing difficulties in the city in the 2020-2025 period".

This significantly contributes to showing gratitude to martyrs, wounded soldiers nad heroic Vietnamese mothers, and ensuring that families of people with meritorious services to the revolution in the city have stable housing, and have their lives improved, Mrs. Thi noted.

Vice Chairman Thi commended great efforts made by investors, contractors and related departments and branches in the planning, design, and implementation of the project. She also thanked the Party Committee, authorities and local organizations for their the active coordination.

She voiced her hope that the social housing building will be a place not only to live but also to connect feelings, and create beautiful memories for families of people with meritorious services, thereby contributing to bringing a better life to families of people with meritorious services to the revolution in the city in particular and all people in general.

The social housing development for people with meritorious services to the revolution on Vu Mong Nguyen Street has a total investment of VND 223.82 billion.

The complex features 12 floors, a basement, an attic floor with synchronous investment in green landscape infrastructure. With the total construction floor area of 22,172m², it provides a total of 209 apartments, with an area of ​​65m² to 77m² each.
