Efforts to open Quang Da Bridge to technical traffic on March 27
Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, on Wednesday, paid an inspection visit the construction site of the Quang Da Bridge and its approach roads.

After listening to the report on the project’s progress, Chairman Chinh commended the efforts of authorities in Hoa Vang District, the investor and the contractor in proactively removing difficulties, basically ensuring the construction progress.
He, at the same time, requested the relevant units to continue to speed up the progress, and complete the remaining items before March 26 in preparation for technical traffic opening scheduled on March 27. He emphasised that this was an important project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang.

The city leader requested units to carefully prepare plans for the opening ceremony, ensuring safety and convenience for people and vehicles.
Invested by the Da Nang Traffic and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board, the VND 274.787 billion Quang Da Bridge project connects Hoa Vang District in Da Nang with Dien Ban Town in Quang Nam Province. Work started on the project in December 2023 and the construction is expected to be completed in May 2025.

To date, the project has completed 84% of the construction volume. There are still some unfinished items such as bridge deck waterproofing, asphalt concrete, expansion joints, railings, lighting, trees, water supply and drainage systems.
The city’s Traffic and Agricultural Construction Project Management Board is actively coordinating with relevant units to make more efforts to ensure the project will be opened to traffic on March 27, 2025.
