Delivering a speech at the launching ceremony of the S.I.S Da Nang International General Hospital project, Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh emphasised that Da Nang is oriented to develop into the core of a specialised medical centre, high-quality medical examination and treatment in the region and Viet Nam, forming and developing medical tourism products.

The S.I.S Da Nang International General Hospital project focuses on the treatment and intensive treatment of stroke and cardiovascular diseases, which is of great significance to the development of the city’s healthcare sector in particular and the whole country in general; meeting the medical examination and treatment needs of people in the city and the Central Viet Nam - Central Highlands localities.

At the same time, it contributes to creating an investment environment with a diverse ecosystem, meeting the needs of local people and investors coming to do business and settle down in this coastal central city. The Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee hopes that the project will start on schedule as committed. The municipal administration will continue to accompany, support, and gradually remove difficulties and obstacles to create the most favourable conditions for businesses to operate effectively.

The S.I.S Da Nang International General Hospital project is built in Hoa Nhon Commune, Hoa Vang District, with a land area of nearly 30,000m², a floor area of about 50,000m², including 300 - 500 beds, with a total investment of nearly VND1,500 billion.
