Spreading good deeds in Da Nang
Recently, many border guards in Da Nang have found lost property while performing their duties and then returned it to owners. These good deeds and actions have great significance in terms of honesty and deep humanity. They also show the traditional cultural and ethical beauty of the Vietnamese people "Pick up lost property and give it back to the owner", thereby contributing to shining the good qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people.

On March 16 morning, at the headquarters of the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port, Captain Do Van Chien, Head of the Reconnaissance Department, returned the property to Nguyen Dinh Van, residing at alley K82/93 Nguyen Luong Bang, Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District. Born in 2003, Van is a student at the Da Nang University of Science and Technology.
Previously, on the morning of March 15, Captain Do Van Chien picked up a brown leather wallet dropped near the Whale Park area in Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District. The wallet contained personal documents including a citizen identification card, a bank card, a vehicle registration card, and a student card of Da Nang University of Science and Technology under the name Nguyen Dinh Van.
Captain Do Van Chien immediately reported the case to the unit’s commander and posted on social networking sites to find the owner of the property. After retrieving his lost property, Nguyen Dinh Van was extremely moved and wrote a letter of thanks to Captain Do Van Chien for his good deed.

Previously, on March 14 evening, Senior Lieutenant Vu Duy Hai, Policy Assistant of the Political Department, the Da Nang Border Guard, picked up a leather wallet at the traffic light intersection of Tran Thi Ly and Nguyen Van Troi bridges. Hai found that the wallet contained personal documents bearing the name of Tran Gia Bao born in 2008.
Immediately, Senior Lieutenant Hai reported to the unit’s commander and actively posted on social networking sites to find the owner. At 9:00 am on March 15, the mother of Tran Gia Bao, an 11th grader at the Y Viet Vocational College, with a permanent address at Lot 78 on April 30 Street, Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District, met with Hai to retrieve the property. After checking and verifying the correct information, Lieutenant Hai returned the wallet, documents, and property to Tran Gia Bao's family.
Talking about his actions, Senior Lieutenant Hai said “Picking up lost property and returning it to its owner is a very normal thing to do. Wearing the green military uniform, I am more aware of my responsibility for society. Therefore, when I picked up lost property, I immediately thought of finding and returning it to the owner”.
Commenting on the beautiful actions of Senior Lieutenant Vu Duy Hai and Captain Do Van Chien, Colonel Dinh Ngoc Anh, Political Commissar of the Da Nang Border Guard, said that their actions were a beautiful traditional cultural and ethical feature of the Vietnamese people.
