Danang Golf Club
Danang Golf Club, also known as the Dunes Golf Course, is part of VinaCapital’s Da Nang Beach Resort located alongside the beautiful Non Nuoc Beach and just 15 minutes’ drive from the city centre. The international-standard golf course has a classic links design, incorporating many natural duneland features as on the world’s most renowned seaside courses. In particular, in its August 2013 issue, the US Golf World Magazine compared this course to Pinehurst and Pine Valley which are two of the most famous golf venues in the USA.
When it opened in 2010, Danang Golf Club was immediately recognised as one of the top 15 best new golf courses in the world by the US Golf World Magazine. In 2011, it was voted the Best New Golf Course in Asia by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly. In 2013, it was also named "Best Golf Course in Viet Nam" and one of the top ten courses in the Asia-Pacific region.
Designed by Australian golf legend Greg Norman, the 7,160-yard, 18-hole course features lush green fairways, edged by sandy rough and areas of trees.
It also boasts a top-class clubhouse with amenities such as food and beverage outlets, locker rooms, a pro shop, and adjacent driving range.
The 68-seater Featherie Restaurant and 108-seater Persimmon Café both serve international cuisine. The Niblick Bar offers a wide range of beers, wines, and soft drinks to match your every mood with a Happy Hour for draught beers from 5.00pm to 7.00pm each day. The 50-seater Gutta Percha meeting room hosts press conferences and private meetings.
The over 500m2 locker rooms have full-sized showers, changing areas with lockers, and relaxing lounges for golfers to rest after their game.
The golf course also offers a stay-and-play package for golfers to play the acclaimed course and stay in the adjacent Ocean Villas.
