The newly-created Ba Na Hills Golf Club officially opened for play on 25 March 2016.  Developed by Sun Group, it is situated at the foot of the Ba Na Hills, just 25 minutes’ drive from Da Nang city centre.

This is the first golf course in the world to be designed by the English golfer Luke Donald MBE, who in recent times has been ranked the best golfer in the world and is famous for his laser-like accurate shots.

The 7,595 yards (6,945m), 18-hole international-standard golf course is set in a 165ha area which offers a diverse mix of natural topography and vegetation.  The course features lush green fairways, edged by sandy rough and areas of trees.

Every hole and vantage point is framed by a beautiful backdrop of the local native forest, and golfers at all levels will enjoy the challenges of the par 72 course.

Unlike the Danang Golf Club and Montgomerie Links courses near the coast, the Ba Na Hills course is about 4,500 feet above sea level and, as with the whole of the Ba Na Hills tourist complex, it enjoys a much-welcomed cool respite from the hot weather of Da Nang.

Thanks to international-standard lighting systems, golfers can start or finish their game at any time, day or night.

The golf club also boasts a stunning clubhouse, a luxurious restaurant, a pro shop, and a floodlit driving range.

The design of the clubhouse was inspired by Vietnamese ancient coins which are said to bring good fortune.  It was designed by M System, a famous designer of resorts and real estate projects in Asia, and now Da Nang-based. 

The restaurant offers 180^o panoramic views over the golf course.  Customers can relax and try Asian and Western cuisines whilst watching the golf.  In addition, there are 2 private rooms for small meetings or private dinners.

The pro shop offers a wide selection of logo apparel and golf equipment from international brands such as Puma, Titleist, Footjoy, and Cobra.

The floodlit driving range has 18 covered, all-weather bays, USGA-standard practise chipping and putting areas, and 2 state-of-the-art golf instruction studios.  The landing zone fairway has 8 bunkers and 5 greens spread out over 300 yards.

Most notably, Ba Na Golf Club will not operate a membership system, it is open to all golfers.
