Situated at 51 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in Da Nang, the Ly Son Island speciality supermarket is a great place to buy a wide range of items from Quang Ngai Province’s Ly Son Island and elsewhere in the central region.

The supermarket offers diversified and speciality foods which are tasty, nutritious and good for your health.  They include garlic grown on the island, ca bong cat kho tieu (sand goby simmered in pepper sauce), mach nha (barley sugar), and duong phen (rock sugar), all from Quang Ngai Province.  Most notably, Ly Son Island’s garlic soaked in wild honey can help to cure stomach ache.

In addition, shoppers can find speciality foods from Da Nang such as cha bo (grilled beef patty), banh kho me (sesame cake), and Nam O fish sauce.  Other items on sale include banh trang (soft rice paper) and keo dua (coconut candy) from Quang Nam Province, me xung (sesame soft candy) and mam tom (shrimp paste) from Hue City, seaweeds from Nha Trang City, and wild honey from Dak Lak Province.

The supermarket also sells Hoi An City's coloured lanterns and straw sandals, and lovely souvenirs made of snail shells.

The supermarket opens daily from 7am to 9.30pm.
