The number of visitors to Da Nang is estimated to increase by 30.1% to reach over 290,000 over the forthcoming 4-day public holiday (from 29 April to 2 May) against the same period last year.

Of the figure, foreign arrivals may reach nearly 82,000, and mostly from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.

The increase is mainly attributed to the opening of Da Nang International Firework Festival 2017 and numeours diverse art shows on the occasion.

Da Nang is actively preparing for the event which will take place by the end of April. The two-month long event is expected to attract more visitors to the city.
