The DHTC Da Nang Co Ltd will open the 4.2 billion VND Son Tra Night Market near the Da Nang Marina complex on the eastern bank of the Han River next month.

 

The market is located on a section of Mai Hac De between its intersections with Phung Khac Khoan and Ly Nam De, and along a section of Ly Nam De.

It will feature 150 stalls selling souvenirs, jewellery, fine arts products, fashionable clothes and other goods, plus there will be food and drinks areas. 

 

Once open, the market will operate from 6.00pm to midnight every day, and is reserved for pedestrians from evening to midnight.

 

It will be the 1^st regular night market and pedestrian space in the city.

 

The night market is expected to help promote the local tourism and trade, preserve traditional arts forms, improve the local employment rate, and lure more domestic and foreign visitors to the city.
