Thanks to the application of science and technology in forecasting and warning of natural disasters, Da Nang has been proactive in early natural disaster prevention and mitigation, contributing to minimising damage in social life. Also, warnings for natural disasters have been fully and promptly transmitted to local authorities at all levels and to households, especially in natural disaster-prone areas. This has greatly contributed to raising public awareness of proactive disaster prevention towards building a smart and climate change-resilient city.
