With simple techniques and cost-effectiveness, calcium worm farming has emerged as one of the most efficient models under the project “Raising Awareness and Encouraging Farmers to Manage Waste in Viet Nam, Contributing to Global Greenhouse Gas Reduction Efforts”. This initiative, led by the Viet Nam Farmers’ Union, has been implemented across 15 provinces nationwide. In Da Nang, the model has been successfully introduced in Hoa Vang District, yielding significant environmental benefits while simultaneously providing a highly nutritious feed source for livestock and increasing local farmers' income.
