K-Cultural Show entitled ‘Two Loving Stars’

Co-organised by the Trung Vuong Theatre in Da Nang and the Uijeongbu Arts Centre in South Korea, the show tells the romantic story of 2 lovers living in different worlds.  They loved each other dearly until death tore them apart.  So deep and everlasting was their love that it touched the universe, which would place them among the constellations in the sky and arrange their reunion every year on a bridge named O Thuoc.

The musical will feature interesting performances by well-known South Korean actors/actresses and singers, with K-pop vibes.  Also, the event will show off contemporary dances, traditional folk dances, martial arts, and magic.

The 3 shows are: 8.00pm on 22 and 23 June and 2.00pm on 24 June

DIFF Grand Finale 2017 entitled ‘Wood’

The UK, Australia and Italy will produce their spectacular fireworks displays.

Street parade of live music and dancing

Street artists in eye-catching costumes will parade along the street.  Many different genres of music will be covered, including paso doble, rumba, tango, cha-cha and disco. There will also be a trumpet band performance.

Son Tra Sunset Tour

Visitors are offered a breathtaking sunset panorama and a bird’s eye view over the Son Tra Peninsula and a corner of the city from 500m above sea level, a BBQ party, and amazing musical performances. ‘Five Elements Food Space’ programme

This magnificent culinary space, with 5 open kitchens representing the 5 elements of ancient oriental philosophy, will offer up to 500 national and international dishes in total.  Throughout the programme, there will be arts performances, cooking classes, and exciting eating minigames.  The show will be hosted by Pham Tuan Hai who is a culinary expert, a passionate chef, and a Masterchef Viet Nam judge.  Also, visitors will get the opportunity to meet with international chefs to gain an insight into delicious dishes from their countries, and to join in cooking contests.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings.  It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.  Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
