Japanese Film Festival 2018

Japanese Film Festival, one of the most anticipated annual events, is organised by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Viet Nam.  The event is widely known that its tickets are quickly ran out in few days, and warmly welcomed by many enthusiastic Japanese film lovers in Viet Nam.

As many as 9 interesting Japanese films will be screened during this year’s festival

All films will be shown with Vietnamese and English subtitles.

Grand musical festival Tiger Remix 2018

Entitled ‘Wake up the Spring’, the event will offer a wonderful opportunity for locals and visitors to enjoy popular songs in a new mix of styles, combining Vietnamese and Western musical instruments with visual effects. 

Coming to Tiger Remix to enjoy the ultimate spring tunes, many remixed Tet hits performed by the most loved artistes in Viet Nam.

A display of 150 original antiquities and photos of Oc Eo Culture

Oc Eo is the name of an archaeological site in Thoai Son District in An Giang Province in the Mekong River Delta.  Based on the artifacts unearthed, archaeologists said that the area used to be a busy port of the kingdom of Phu Nam between the 1st and 7th centuries. They used the term ‘Oc Eo Culture’ to refer to the ancient material culture of the Mekong Delta region.

‘Charming Da Nang’ musical programme

This 60-minute programme opens with a stage presentation highlighting the city’s most impressive sites such as the Da Nang International Airport, the Han River and the tall buildings.  It is followed by delightful performances of singing, dancing and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, each of them showcasing the culture and beauty of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.  Interestingly, there is a song named ‘Charming Da Nang’ which was written specifically for this programme.
