A wide array of fascinating activities will take place in Da Nang this week. Below are the dates and details of the events:

Vietbuild Da Nang International Exhibition 2022

 

Time: May 18 to 22

Venue: Da Nang Exhibition and Convention Centre at 09 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street

Ticket: Free admission

The event will features pavilions displays construction materials, safety and security systems, electrical equipment, LED lights, interior and exterior decoration products, doors and related accessories and solar energy machines, water purification equipment, storage shelves, water tanks and other related items.

On the sidelines of the event will be a wide range of programmes such as exchanges and seminars on creating opportunities and good conditions for businesses to develop together, as well as boosting technology transfer and experience exchanges, cooperation in financial investment, and linkage to launch new product lines on construction materials, real estate, high-class interior and exterior decoration.

Art exhibition themed ‘Heading out to sea’

 

Time: From May 20 - 22

Venue:The Museum of Da Nang

Ticket: Free admission

The exhibition aims to recreate fishing activities and spread the traditional cultural values ​​of fishing villages.

Visitors to the exhibition will be told about touching stories reflecting the attachment between people and the sea, enjoy the beauty of architectural works of fishing villages in the past and at the present, and explore livelihoods at sea of local fishermen.

Also, they will have a chance to participate in a number of interesting activities, including a writing contest about fishing villages and islands, a dance competition, and an orchid festival.

European Film Festival 2022

 

Time: From May 21 - June 2

Venue: Da Nang's Galaxy Coop Mark Theatre, located at 478 Dien Bien Phu

Ticket: Free admission

This year’s event will feature a total of 17 movies with focus on the theme of family and young people, including several national and international award-winning ones that target different groups of audiences from children, youths to adults. In particular, this year's film festival welcomes a special guest from Ukraine with an interesting musical film.

Local movie lovers will have the opportunity watch a number of outstanding and highly appreciated films such as ‘Glorious Stories’ to be screened on May 26, ‘Letters from the South Pole’ on May 27, and ‘Let the light shine’ on June 1. The films have high artistic value, promising to bring movie lovers a profound feeling and interesting cultural experience.

Arts show entitled ‘The Battle of the Moon Kingdom’

 

Time: Open until August 30, with 2 shows per day at 10:15am and 11:15am (except for Tuesdays)

Venue: Sun World Ba Na Hills

Ticket: Admission fee is VND750,000 per person, including 2-way cable car ticket and entertainment activity fees.

The audience will be surprised and then burst into emotions when admiring the vibrant dances combined with impressive martial arts performances by professional cascadeurs and parkours getting dressed in beautiful and mysterious costumes. The show has the participation of 160 artists, including 90 international artists from such countries as Russia, Brazil and Ukraine.
