The Viet Nam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival 2022
Jointly organised by the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs, the International Cooperation Development Centre (ICDC) and the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang, the festival aims to restore international exchange activities in the city as well as promote friendship, cooperation and people-to-people exchanges with Japan.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to enjoy some special arts programmes and visit booths to explore culture and cuisine of the two countries. Besides, there will be a seminar to promote bilateral cooperation relations between Da Nang and Japanese businesses, a Japanese speaking contest, and a Japanese tea ceremony space.

Art exhibition themed ‘Dam Dang Lai Sculptures’
A total of 25 sculptures, made on natural wood and other materials with diverse and unique shapes, are being on display at the exhibition.
The on-display sculptures were created by famous sculptor Dam Dang Lai during his time in Viet Nam and Japan.
Through this exhibition, the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts wishes to bring contemporary sculpture closer to the public, thereby contributing to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of the people, creating colourful art activities to attract more tourists to the city.

Sun Fest Street Carnival ‘Take Me to the Sun’
Within the framework of the ongoing ‘Enjoy Danang Summer’ Festival 2022, the Sun Fest Street Carnival themed ‘Take Me to the Sun’ takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:30pm to 9:00pm daily.
The parade of 10 vehicles decorated with replicas of Da Nang’s famous tourist attractions, along with nearly 160 dancers in eye-catching and colourful costumes, departs from the Tran Thi Ly Bridge to a park on the west end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, and arrives at the main stage on the extended Bach Dang Street.
At each stop, festival-goers will be treated to interesting dances and exciting flash mob performances in magic lighting effects.
Time: from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays between June 25 and July 24, except for July 9
Venue: On Vo Nguyen Giap Street, exactly a section from Vo Van Kiet T-junction, opposite My Hanh Restaurant to the junction opposite Loseby Hotel.

‘Dances of Birds of Paradise’ show
The show features spectacular performances from rare birds such as Harris's hawks, eagles, fire eagles, colourful parrots and more. Additionally, visitors will have a chance to watch dances of precious birds and take pictures with the ‘winged dancers’ at the end of the show.
Time: from June 25 between 3:45pm and 5:15pm daily

Craft Beer Festival 2022
The festival will bring together dozens of types of locally-brewed and imported beer, including leading craft beer brands.
In addition to enjoying beer, visitors to the event will have the opportunity to take part in exciting gameshows, and watch bartender skills displays and cooking shows, and a whole lot more.
Time: from June 17 to July 17 between 5:30pm and 10:30pm daily

Arts show entitled ‘The Battle of the Moon Kingdom’
The audience will be surprised and then burst into emotions when admiring the vibrant dances combined with impressive martial arts performances by professional cascadeurs and parkours getting dressed in beautiful and mysterious costumes. The show has the participation of 160 artists, including 90 international artists from such countries as Russia, Brazil and Ukraine.
Time: Open until August 30, with 2 shows per day at 10:15am and 11:15am (except for Tuesdays)
Venue: Sun World Ba Na Hills
Ticket: Admission fee is VND750,000 per person, including 2-way cable car ticket and entertainment activity fees.
