If you are in the centre of Da Nang, a great place for you to pick up fresh fruit is the Vooc fruit shop located at 49A Tran Quoc Toan in Hai Chau District, Da Nang.

On sale at the shop are 12 types of fruit beams, 12 types of pure fruit juices, and plastic boxes and glasses of pre-cut fruit of all kinds. Also, yogurt and more than 40 types of cakes are available at the shop.

In addition, the shop is offering sweet party services for such events as inauguration, naming and cradle ceremonies.

Mr Nguyen Xuan Kieu, the owner of the fruit shop, said he likes drinking freshly-pressed fruit juice  which is created from the slow juicers. He explained the reason that the slow and steady extraction process of such machine typically derives cleaner and better-tasting juice. However, most of fruit juice shops use fast juicers which can cause vitamin loss.

Besides, he witnessed that female white-collar workers took much time to buy and cut fruits during their working time which create demand for new products and services. Therefore, this inspired Mr Kieu to open the Vooc fruit shop to meet the growing demand of the new services from local residents. 

Mr Kieu said his shop is named after red-shanked douc langurs which is a new symbol of the city. He hoped that his name shop would convey its message of protecting the endangered animal to the general public.
