A café in beautiful setting in heart of the city
Lying hidden from inside an alley No 96/7 on Hai Ho Street in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District, the ‘Old Days’ café in a beautiful setting is very attractive to Da Nang citizens and tourists.
This airy café isn’t too large but cozy, and beautiful as it is decorated with many small decorative objects such as flower and plant pots and colourful lanterns. Amidst the lush colours of trees and flowers, we feel close to nature and move through flora and fauna almost invisible.
Notable, visitors to the coffee shop will be impressed with some hanging white umbrellas which let them enjoy a sunny day in the shade, without having a pole that blocks their view or gets in the way.
In this place, we can find silence. Far away from bustling city and busy construction structures, from traffic noise and the hundreds of people, the world there is still quiet. Thanks to its green and spacious space, this shop totally gives customers a breath of fresh air.
Spectacularly, all wooden tables and chairs in this coffee shop are deliberately made by its owner, Mrs Nhi.
Mrs Nhi said during her recent visit to Da Lat City, she already stayed at a carpenter-owned homestay. She was really impressed with all decorative items in the homestay which had been entirely handcrafted from wood. Therefore, she came up with the idea of opening her own coffee shop filled with wooden furniture made by herself. And that is the reason why the ‘Old days’ café has been born.
This Vintage-style coffee shop is a wonderful place to sit and relax while enjoying your favourite coffee or cocktails and letting minds wander with the melodious songs.
