The 20-day festival features a wide range of unique cultural, entertainment and recreational activities, aimed at enhancing the experience and leaving an impression on both local residents and visitors.

Check-in clusters with unique and novel models are arranged by the municipal Department of Tourism at both ends of the Dragon Bridge. In particular, the Christmas tree has an impressive height, decorated with thousands of brilliant LED lights, modern light patterns and traditional red and green Christmas balls. The highlight of the festival is the Christmas tree lighting every night combined with laser light and lively music shows, creating a fun and festive atmosphere full of Christmas.

In addition, there is a European-style Christmas market where people and visitors can enjoy typical holiday dishes such as gingerbread and German sausages as well as buy lovely handmade gifts. The stalls sell many handicraft products to connect traditional Vietnamese culture with the international festival atmosphere.

A play area for children, such as a snow house or performances by clowns and circus artists, is arranged. In particular, a Santa Claus parade will take place along Bach Dang Walking Street, bringing surprise gifts to children, as well as conveying messages of love and connecting the community.

The Christmas Tree Lighting Festival is not only an entertainment event but also an opportunity for local dwellers to shop at the end of the year.

Aside from the culinary space with more than 100 typical dishes, Da Nang has launched preferential programmes on tourism services to welcome in New Year 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, hopes that the festival will become an annual event, contributing to enriching the cultural and spiritual life of local people at the end of the year.
