Cambodia’s ruling party CPP and its opposition CNRP met on December 10, agreeing to continue their culture of dialogue and settle disputes based on the spirit of national reconciliation and solidarity.

Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng of the Cambodia People’s Party (CPP) and Kem Sokha, standing president of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), reached a consensus on facilitating the democratic process and national reconciliation.

According to a joint statement established after the meeting, both sides will consider the draft trade union law and set up a joint working group researching dialogue mechanism under their past joint statement on May 8.
