Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai told reporters in Bangkok on 31 October that Yingluck had 4 passports – 2 personal and 2 diplomatic.
She was reported to be in the UK but not exactly which city, he added.
Thailand's deputy police chief Srivara Ransibrahmanakul said authorities are still working to confirm the former premier's location as they seek her extradition.
However, no country has replied about her presence, he noted.
Thailand’s Supreme Court on 27 September imposed a 5-year imprisonment on the former Prime Minister over charges of negligence in a rice subsidy scheme.
Yingluck did not show up at the court. Earlier, she failed to appear for her verdict on 25 August.
Thai police on 5 September publicised evidence showing that Yingluck had fled the country.
Thailand’s authorities later issued an arrest warrant for the former premier.
