RoK fosters cooperation with Indonesia
President of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Moon Jae-in is scheduled to pay a State visit to Indonesia from 8-11 November, spokesperson of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arrmanatha Nasir has said.

It will be the first trip of the RoK President to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) since he took office, showing the RoK’s strong commitment in enhancing cooperation with Indonesia and ASEAN.
Edi Yusup, the Indonesian Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Director for East Asia and Pacific, said that leaders of the two countries will discuss bilateral trade, citizen protection and regional issues. They will also talk about expanding bilateral cooperation between the RoK and other countries in the Asia-Pacific.
During the visit, the 2 countries are expected to sign memoranda of understanding on cooperation in the fields of industry, communications and health.
An Indonesia-RoK business forum featuring representatives of 300 businesses of the 2 countries will be held, aiming to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and business connection.
