During his reception on Tuesday for the Argentinean Ambassador to Viet Nam, Mr Juan Carlos Valle Raleigh, Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho remarked that no specific cooperation programmes between Da Nang and Argentinean localities have been implemented.

The city leader, therefore, highlighted the importance of the visit to the city by the Argentinean Ambassador to lay a foundation for boosting bilateral cooperative ties with Argentina in such aspects as investment, trade, tourism, education, culture and other aspects.

The host also asked for help from Mr Juan Carlos Valle Raleigh to appeal for more Argentinean investors to Da Nang in the years ahead, thereby helping to deepen the bilateral cooperation between Argentina with Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.

In rely, the Argentinean diplomat said that one focus could be on establishing bilateral cooperation in hi-tech agriculture and solar energy, in both of which Argentina shows off the great potential and strengths.  In addition, bilateral cooperation will be  promoted in tertiary education, the exchanges of high-quality human resources and culture.

The visiting guest also asked the city authorities to facilitate Argentinean businesses and organisations to seek investment opportunities here.
