As of 10 May, the total of taxes collected by Da Nang’s Department of Taxation had reached around 5,800 billion VND, fulfilling 48.6% of the year's target.  This positive result allows the Department to be confident that they will fulfil this year's target as set by the city.

From now until the end of this year, the focus will be on increasing tax collections by between 5% and 10% against 2015, and reducing overdue tax arrears to just 5%. 

Importance will be attached to effectively managing the number of taxpayers across the city.

In addition, steps will be taken to ensure the balance of local budgetary revenue.  The aim is to create reserves for implementation of the city’s key construction works and the organisation of local events, as well as to ensure the smooth operation of local government agencies and other social welfare activities.
