According to the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, the city’s Industrial Production Index in May is expected to have risen by 9.05% compared with the same period last year.

During the month, the mining sector is likely to have climbed by 14.9%, electricity production and distribution rose by 11%, processing and manufacturing industry increased by 8.5%, and water supply and garbage treatment went up by 6.6%.  As a result, this helps to bring the local Industrial Production Index in the first 5 months of this year to jump by 10.82%. 

In detail, the mining sector is expected to have soared by 17.9%, electricity production and distribution jumped by 11.7%, processing and manufacturing industry rose by 10.5%, and water supply and garbage treatment went up by 10.3%.
