Many start-up support activities to be implemented this month
According to a spokesperson for the Da Nang Entrepreneurship Support Company (DNES), numerous start-up support activities will be implemented in the city during this month.
In particular, DNES will select and give financial aid to potential local start-up projects which involve in information technology, biotechnology, education and healthcare, by 22 September. The developers of these selected projects will be given a chance to participate in workshops and training courses with the help of success businesspeople, and mentors who have expertise in start-up skills. In addition, they will have the opportunity to meet with DNES’s partners from both home and abroad.
Moreover, 10 September is the deadline for registering for the Start Jerusalem (Start JLM) Competition 2017 in Viet Nam. The event is jointly organised by the Embassy of Israel in Viet Nam, the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation Development (NATEC), and the Business Studies and Assistance Centre (BSA). The intention is to seek a winner to take part in the Start Jerusalem 2017 in Jerusalem City, Israel, in November 2017.
Start Jerusalem is an international competition co-organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Jerusalem Development Authority. The intention is to facilitate young entrepreneurs from different countries worldwide to take part in a 5-day discussion in Jerusalem City, as well as connect with the Israeli city’s startup community.
The Techstars Startup Weekend Da Nang 2017 will take place at 31 Tran Phu from 29 September to 1 October. This event aims to educate young people with strong passion for start-up ideas about creative ideas, innovation and practical actions.
