Amongst them, peaceful rural areas have been preferred by many families and young people because they can save the travelling time and other costs.
Most recently, the Hoi Yen camping site in Nam Yen Village, Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District has been emerging an attractive destination for those who like camping.
About 40 km from the centre of Da Nang, the camping site boasts its peaceful and delightful scenes.
The site opend its doors to the public in early 2018, but its owner Bui Duc Vu has only started to launch the site-related tours to tourists in April. Since then, this tourist site has drawn a great deal of attention from local residents and visitors.
Visitors to the site have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, breath the cool breeze from the romantic river, and enjoy stunning panoramic views of majestic mountains.
Another special feature is that visitors can listen to the sounds of water flowing and birds singing in nearby trees.
Apart from camping activities, visitors can take a walk along the river, fly kites, go fishing and ride bicycles.
The campsite rental fee is 500,000 VND per night, including decorative lights, battery chargers, firewood for campfire, a set of tables and chairs, dinner and breakfast.
Currently, this tourist site is quite pristine, untouched and pure. Therefore, it only provides visitors with such basic services as electricity, water, toilets, drinking, and eating.
Especially, each of visitors is served with less than 8 beer bottles. In addition, karaoke machines and acoustic speakers are banned to avoid making too much noise for households along riverside and breaking down the quiet space there.
More interestingly, most of items used in the camping site are environmentally friendly products. Included are wooden tents, and bamboo chopsticks, bowls, and straws.
Mr Vu emphasised that his tourist site only welcomes as many as 50 people daily in a bid to avoid breaking down the quiet space there, as well as reduce the burden of waste on the environment.
Currently, the Hoi Yen camping site has yet to be advertised widely. Although tours to the site have only sold via Mr Bui Duc Vu’s Facebook page, the camping site has attracted much attention from locals and visitors.
Mr Truong Nhu Huy from Hoa Bac Commune’s Culture and Information Office said more inviting entertainment services will be developed at the campsite in the coming time in order to satisfy the increasing demand of visitors from both home and abroad.
