Following recommendations from the Vietnamese Embassy in India, an Indian billionaire will organise his daughter’s wedding at a seaside resort in Da Nang’s Ngu Hanh Son District at the end of this moth, according to Nguyen Cong Tien, the Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs.

About 600 - 700 ‘upper-class’ guests and 55 top chefs from India will fly to Da Nang to attend the upcoming wedding. In particular, costumes, jewellery, props, goods, and kitchen equipment will be brought from India.

It is known that, Da Nang is the second Vietnamese locality that emerges as an ideal wedding destination for rich and super-rich Indians, following Phu Quoc Island off the southern province of Kien Giang.

In reality, Da Nang is one of the most well-qualified destinations in Viet Nam to host the million-dollar wedding of Indian billionaires thanks to its picturesque scenery and luxury resorts and 5-star hotels that can accommodate about 700 to 1,000 guests at once, along with convenient airway connection.

Besides, during their stay in Da Nang, Indian guests can visit the Golden Bridge at the Sun World Ba Nan Hills or explore the beauty of 2 UNESCO-recognised world heritage sites - Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary- in the neighboring Quang Nam Province.

“Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, is rising as a highlight on the global map for Indian billionaires’ weddings,” Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau said.
