Extra trains promised for HCMC-Da Nang route over Tet
The Saigon Railway Transport JSC will add more trains travelling between Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and destinations in Central Viet Nam, including Da Nang, in a bid to meet the increasing travel demand from passengers over the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.
With regard to the HCMC-Da Nang route, the SE28 train will depart in HCMC at 12.25pm on 14, 15, 17 and 18 February, whilst the SE27 train will leave the Da Nang Railway Station at 5.50am on 16, 17, 19 and 20 February.
As for the HCMC-Nha Trang route, the SNT12 train will leave HCMC at 11.40pm on 5, 7, and 9 February, and the SNT11 will daily.depart in Nha Trang at 7.03am from 16 - 20 February.
The SPT4 train will en route from HCMC to Phan Thiet on 13 and 14 February at 8am daily. Meanwhile, the SPT3 train will run from Phan Thiet to HCMC at 3.40pm on 13 and 14 February.
In Northern Viet Nam, the Ha Noi Railway Transport JSC will operate extra trains for Tet on the route connecting between the capital city and Vinh City.
Specifically, NA3 train will run from Ha Noi to Vinh between 8 and 13 February, whilst NA7 and NA9 trains will operate on 9 February on the same route.
Meanwhile, NA4 train will travel from Vinh to Ha Noi on 16 and 17 February, NA8 on 13, 14 and 15 February, NA10 on 14 and 15 February, NA12 on 14, 15 and 16 February, NA14 on 15 and 16 February, and SE38 on 15 and 17 February.
On the Ha Noi-Lao Cai route, SP3 train will operate on 8, 9, 12, 13, 14 and 15 February, whilst SP4 will run from 13 - 16 February.
