Overpass at western end of Tran Thi Ly Bridge in Da Nang opens to traffic
At exactly 6:00am on Wednesday, the overpass on September 2 Street, as part of the under-construction traffic infrastructure project at western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, officially opened to traffic.

As observed, traffic movement on the overpass was ensured in a safe manner as all road users strictly complied with the traffic regulations.
According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoang, Deputy Director of the Management Board of Da Nang Traffic Construction Investment Projects, functional forces such as traffic police officers and inspectors were on duty to regulate traffic circulating on the overpass, and remind road users against going in the wrong lanes.
For the time being, road users are banned from travelling through the Duy Tan - September 2 streets, and Duy Tan - Nui Thanh intersections. Instead, all kinds of vehicles are permitted to travel along the Nui Thanh - Tieu La (or Nguyen Son Tra) - September 2 – the overpass - September 2 - Phan Thanh Tai (or Binh Minh 6) - Nui Thanh route.
The overpass runs over a section of September 2 Street, passing by Duy Tan Street, in Hai Chau District
The overpass is 191.4m long, including 5 spans of steel box girders combined with reinforced concrete slabs with a width of 14m and a system of approach and frontage roads.
The operation of overpass aims to ensure traffic movement in tandem with serving the construction of the tunnel and the roundabout as part of the whole traffic infrastructure project at western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge.
