Da Nang leader extends congratulations on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day
During her Wednesday visit to Heineken Viet Nam Brewery - Da Nang Co., Ltd on the occasion of the Viet Nam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), municipal People's Council Vice Chairwoman Cao Thi Huyen Tran highly lauded Heineken's great contributions to the State budget revenue.

Amid the COVID-19 wave, this company has taken many flexible measures to effectively fulfill the dual goals of keeping itself out of the COVID-19 attack and boosting production.
The company’s leaders hoped that the fourth quarter of 2021- the peak period of annual production- would see the gradual restoration of production activities with an increase in the volume of sales.
As of October 12, nearly 100% of the company's staff members had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
At the Da Nang Port JSC, Vice Chairwoman Tran said that, amid the encouraging that the coronavirus wave has been basically controlled, the city will speed up the completion of procedures to commence work on such local key projects as the construction of the Lien Chieu mega-port for promoting the circulation of goods through Da Nang and the development of a number of industrial auxiliary facilities in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park.

2021 marks the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Da Nang Port JSC. The company is in full swings to synchronise infrastructure and promoting contactless transactions and digitisation.
The volume of goods through the Da Nang Port in the third quarter of 2021 increased by 17.49% as compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the volume of container cargo in September 2021 reached 57,666 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), up 26.28% from the same period last year. As accumulated in the January- September period, the figure reached 506,899 TEUs, up 26.15% from the year-ago period.
At the Da Nang Power Co., Ltd under the Central Power Corporation, the city leader said that the city is still on track to make appropriate adjustments to pandemic prevention measures in the coming time, with a heed paid to supporting enterprises to restore production and trade operations.

It was suggested that Da Nang Power Co., Ltd continue to develop electricity system infrastructure in the coming time and promote digitisation towards digital transformation to best serve the general public.
Whilst extending her greetings to the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policy (VBSP), Vice
Chairwoman Tran highly applauded it for performing well in social welfare work in the past time and implementing social development goals through preferential lending programmes.
