The Da Nang Port said on Thursday that, in 2021, it made a significant breakthrough with total revenue of over VND 1,100 billion, and it was classified as one of enterprises with the highest revenue in the country.

Currently, the port is named among top 1,000 largest corporate taxpayers in Viet Nam, and top 7 largest corporate taxpayers in Da Nang.

Last year, the Da Nang Port recorded a remarkable growth in production and business activities despite the serve impact of COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the total volume of container cargo transported through the port increased by 20%, and the port’s growth revenue rose by 18% against 2020.

The port accelerated the application of information technology in production management, and in all stages of freight loading and unloading processes.

Moreover, the focus was on promoting the application of electronic ports in production activities in a bid to provide the best services to customers, thereby significantly contributing to reducing the time taken for customs procedures. 100% container services were done online.
