As observation of our reporter at the Huynh Duc Trading, Service and Production Co., Ltd located in the Lien Chieu District-based Hoa Khanh Expanded Industrial Park, 100% of workers were hard at work. The company’s workers will start to enjoy their Tet holiday from the 27th day of the 12th lunar month.

Pham Thi Hong Ly, the company's chief accountant, said that her company was now on track for quickly settling the remaining orders in 2021 and completing some ones received at the start of 2022. She added that each employee received an average Tet bonus of VND7 million.

Similarly, more than 2,000 workers of the Da Nang Rubber JSC are seen working hard. This year, the company pays VND30 million in Tet bonuses to each of its employees.

Expressing his joy at receiving a high Tet bonus, Mr. Tran Van M., a company worker said, despite the impact of COVID-19, the company still maintained the same Tet bonuses as in previous years’.

“We understand that this is the company’s very respectable effort, helping employees feel secure to work for it for a long time” added he.

Likewise, the hustle and bustle of work has been seen at foreign-invested enterprises based in the city.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, the Director of Daiwa Viet Nam Co., Ltd located in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District, said a few hundred workers took several days off work early to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet. 2022 continues to be a difficult year for most businesses due to the impact of the pandemic. Supply is interrupted as well as the prices of raw materials significantly increase, but most of seafood enterprises still maintain good production and business activities.

Most businesses maintain stable production before the Tet holiday as planned. At the Bac Dau Company Limited located in the Son Tra District-based Da Nang Fisheries Service Industrial Park, more than 200 workers were seen urgently working to complete the last orders of 2021 before officially enjoying a Tet holiday on the 28th day of the last lunar month.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chin, Director of the Bac Dau company, remarked, in spite of pandemic-triggered difficulties, the company still made an attempt to take care of the life of its employees. Therefore, the workforce always tries to complete the tasks well until the last days of the lunar year.

In addition, the company always strictly adheres to the city’s COVID-19 prevention and control rules in a bid to keep a safe working environment for all employees amid COVID-19 crisis.
