Starting at 8:00am on April 25, the Ha Noi Railway Transport JSC (Haraco) officially began selling North-South train tickets in a bid to meet increasing travel demand of passengers during the summer transport peak period 2022 between May 26 and August 21.

Accordingly, the company will re-operate a pair of SE1/2 passenger trains on the Thong Nhat (North-South) route, and prolong the Ha Noi - Saigon journey as before for a pair of SE3/SE4 passenger trains.

In order to serve passengers travelling on the North-South route, Haraco will arrange passenger trains for inter-provincial routes such as pairs of NA1/NA2 and SE35/SE36 passenger trains operating on the Ha Noi and Vinh route, a pair of QB1/QB2 trains connecting Ha Noi with Dong Hoi, and a pair of SE17/ SE18 passenger trains between Ha Noi and Hue.

In the southern area, a pair of SPT1/SPT2 trains will run on the HCMC - Phan Thiet route, pairs of SNT1/SNT2 and SNT3/SNT4 trains on the HCMC - Nha Trang route, a pair of SQN1/SQN2 trains on the HCMC and Quy Nhon route, a pair of SE25/SE26 trains on the HCMC - Quang Ngai route, and a pair of SE21/SE22 on the HCMC - Da Nang route.
