The conference saw the participation of over 40 production and 20 distribution units, including commercial centres, supermarkets, convenience stores, and small traders.

As many as 60 locally-made products such as OCOP and typical rural industry products, souvenirs, and traditional handicrafts were on display at the event.

Mrs. Dang Thi Viet Ha, the owner of the Moc Moc herbal product production facility in Cam Le District, remarked the meeting programmes between manufacturers and distributors like this conference meant a lot to her. The conference provided the opportunity for her facility to promote her products to modern distribution channels that were easy to reach consumers.

Meanwhile, as a retailer, Mrs. Phan Nhu Yen, Director of Danavi Mart supermarket, shared her purpose of attending the conference was to learn about more quality products made by business households in the city, aimed at making sources of goods at her supermarket more abundant.

"We are always ready to cooperate with production facilities in the city, provided that products must meet the standards of the authorities and the supply chain of products is stable", said Mrs. Yen.

Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Huu Hanh underlined the purpose of the conference was to boost the connection between OCOP and typical rural industry product, and souvenir, production facilities in Da Nang with distribution units, thereby gradually introducing such products to commercial centres, shops and markets.

In addition, the conference aimed to stimulate the introduction, promotion and consumption of locally-made products, hereby significantly contributing to effectively implementing the 'Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods' campaign, and the 'One Commune- One Product' programme in the locality.
