New updates about subsidised bus routes in Da Nang

According to the Da Nang Department of Transport, there are only four subsidised intra-city bus routes operating in the city. They are the routes R16: Kim Lien - Viet Nam-Korea Information Technology and Communications University, R17A: Song Han Port - Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre, R4A: Song Han Port - Hoa Tien Commune, and R6A Da Nang Coach Station - Marble Mountains Tourist Area.

Accordingly, buses, all equipped with air conditioning, operate daily on these routes every 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Under the city-approved subsidy programme, the bus fares are only VND6,000/passenger. Also, a monthly bus pass for VND130,000 is set for all groups of passengers, whilst a monthly bus pass worth VND65,000 is now available for prioritised commuters such as poor households, people with disabilities, workers, students, and people aged 60 years and above.

Specifically, as for route R16, the depart route is Kim Lien - Nguyen Van Cu - Nam O Bridge - Nguyen Luong Bang - Ton Duc Thang - 3rd floor of overpass at the Hue T-junction - Dien Bien Phu - Ly Thai To - Hung Vuong - Tran Phu - Dragon Bridge - Ngo Quyen - Ngu Hanh Son - Le Van Hien - Tran Dai Nghia - Viet Nam-Korea Information Technology and Communications University on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street.

The return route of R16: Viet Nam-Korea Information Technology and Communications University on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street - Tran Dai Nghia - Le Van Hien - Ngu Hanh Son - Ngo Quyen - Dragon Bridge - Bach Dang - Hung Vuong - Ly Thai To - Dien Bien Phu - 3rd floor of overpass at the Hue T-junction - Ton Duc Thang - Nguyen Luong Bang - Nam O bridge - Nguyen Van Cu - Kim Lien.

With regard to R17A, the depart route: Han River Port (a bus station at the beginning of Nhu Nguyet Street) - Tran Phu - Ly Tu Trong - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - Hung Vuong - Tran Phu - Trung Nu Vuong - Nui Thanh - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Hoa Cam Overpass - Truong Son - National Highway 14B - Quang Xuong - Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre.

Meanwhile, the return route: Hoa Vang District Administrative Centre - Quang Xuong - National Highway 14B - Truong Son - Hoa Cam Overpass - Cách Mang Thang Tam - Nui Thanh - Binh Minh 6 - September 2 - Bach Dang - Hung Vuong - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - Ly Tu Trong - Bach Dang - Han River Port (a bus station at the beginning of Nhu Nguyet Street).

Route R4A with the departure route: Han River Port (a bus station at the beginning of Nhu Nguyet Street) - Dong Da - Ong Ich Khiem - Nguyen Van Linh - September 2 - Tieu La - Nui Thanh - April 30 - Nguyen Huu Tho - Le Dai Hanh - Ong Ich Duong - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Truong Chinh - Red Bridge - National Highway 1A - DT605 - Le Trach Market - Hoa Tien.
