In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2023 (Tet Festival), the Hanoi Railway Transport JSC will run additional 20 trains in its Northern train line connecting with Vinh and Da Nang.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Hanoi Railway Transport JSC said train SE19 will depart from Ha Noi on January 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 2023 and arrive Da Nang on the next day.

In return direction,  train TN32 will depart from Da Nang on January 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 2023 and arrive Ha Noi on the next day.

Train NA3 will depart from Ha Noi on January 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 2023 and trains NA7 and NA9 will leave Ha Noi on January 19, and these trains will arrive Vinh on the next day.

In return direction, train NA4 train will leave Vinh on January 25 and 26, 2023, train NA8 will depart from Vinh on January 23, 24, 25, 26, 2023 while trains NA10, NA12, and NA14 will run on January 25, 2023 and train SE34 will run on January 26, 2023.

Train TH2 will depart from Thanh Hoa on January 25 and 26, 2023 and arrive Ha Noi on the next day.

Railway sector’s discount program is also applied on fares for social policy beneficiaries, trade union members, card holders in its extra train services during Tet. A 3% discount applies to fares for trains departing from the Saigon Station on January 20, 2023 (the 29^th day of the 12^th lunar month) and passengers travelling within the distance of 1,000km or more get 3% off the price of train fares. When buying return tickets, a 5% discount is given off regular prices. This offer is given for traveling in trains during Tet. Especially, college students are eligible for a discount up to 20% off the price of their train ticket purchase.
