Week of OCOP products launched in Da Nang
The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade partnered with the MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd. to launch a week introducing and popularising One Commune, One Product (OCOP) products at the lobby of the MM Mega Market at 5 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le District, on Thursday morning.

Held from November 10 - 13, the week of OCOP products features 30 booths displaying OCOP, and typical commercial and rural industrial products, of some provinces and cities across the country.
Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Le Thi Kim Phuong said the intention of the week was to effectively implement the 'Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods' campaign, strengthen the promotion and introduction of OCOP and typical commercial and rural industrial products to consumers, and boost connections in the local distribution system.
The programme provides consumers with a good opportunity to purchase essential goods with appropriate quality and prices, as well as access sales methods and enjoy the benefits that guarantee the best price to consumers.
During the event, the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade signed a cooperation agreement with the MM Mega Market Vietnam. Also, some OCOP and typical product producers in Da Nang inked a cooperation agreement with the MM Mega Market Vietnam to bring their goods to the supermarket.

Also at the event, the ‘Week of promotion to stimulate shopping demand’ was launched.
Taking place in the city from November 10 - 16, the programme sees with the participation of more than 15 large trade centres and supermarkets, all offering more than 4,000 promotional products of all kinds.
In addition, chain stores, and production and business establishments, citywide involving electrical appliances, electronics, refrigeration, agricultural products, processed food, and fashion, are organising many promotion programmes for consumers.
