Da Nang records fastest growing revenue in Viet Nam
According to the latest socio-economic report released by the General Statistics Office of Viet Nam, Viet Nam's total revenue from retail sales of goods and services reached VND5,180.5 trillion in the 11 months of the year.
Of this, the country’s revenue from the retail sales of goods between January and November hit an estimate of VND4,079.4 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%, and that from accommodation and food services was estimated at VND536.3 trillion, up 56.5%.
During that period, other services earned an estimate of VND541.9 trillion in revenue, up 36.8% against 2021, and revenue from the country’s tourism sector reached an estimate of VND22.9 trillion, 4.1 times higher than in 2021.
Da Nang is one of the country’s localities to record the fastest growing revenue from the retail sales of consumer goods and services compared to the same period in previous year.
Specifically, the city’s revenue from the retail sales of goods during the 11-month period increased by 14.3%, ranking the fifth place in the country, while its revenue from accommodation and food services soared by 81.3%, ranking the 4th place in the country.
Notably, the city was ranked first in term of revenue in the travel and tourism sector and other services with rises of 867.1% and 90.3% respectively.
